Screen saver purchases & refunds

These terms apply to standalone screen saver downloads sold by 5¼ Floppy Software, LLC at floppydisk.shop.

What you are buying

Each $1.99 USD purchase is a one-time purchase of the selected macOS screen saver, delivered as a ZIP containing a .saver file. Any applicable tax is shown before payment. There is no subscription. All effects inside Fluid Studio are free; buying a separate screen saver does not unlock app features.

Compatibility

Requires macOS 26 or later and a Metal-capable Mac. Downloads support Apple silicon and Intel. Native screen savers animate while your Mac is idle; macOS can dismiss them when you move the pointer. Use Fluid Studio for uninterrupted cursor interaction. Review these requirements before purchase.

Delivery and installation

After successful payment, return to the order page to download your files. Open the ZIP, then double-click the .saver file and follow macOS installation instructions. Download links last 15 minutes; the original browser can request fresh links from the order page while it retains its order cookie. Save your download and Stripe receipt. If you lose access, contact us with your receipt or order reference instead of purchasing again.

Refund policy

We refund accidental duplicate purchases and technical problems we cannot resolve through support. Contact developer@floppydisk.shop with your order reference, the affected effect, macOS version, and a description of the problem. Do not email card numbers or passwords. We may ask for reasonable troubleshooting information to help resolve a technical issue.

Except for duplicate purchases, unresolved technical problems, or where required by law, digital downloads are non-refundable. Refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method; your bank controls when the credit appears. A refunded purchase no longer provides download access. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Use of the download

Your purchase grants a non-exclusive license to use the screen saver on Macs you own or control. Do not resell or redistribute the files. No recurring fee or online activation is required.
